Hello everyone. Justin here and welcome
back to another Bizmates for Beginners
video lesson where every week, we
introduce a new idiom phrase or
expression that you can use in your
daily business conversation. This week,
everyone, we are going to learn "no sweat."
"No sweat" okay, so to find out what this
means and how to use it, stay tuned but
first let's do a quick review of last
week's lesson. Alright everyone, so
imagine I say "We are way behind schedule!"
So of course we need to prioritize our
project and our progress so how do you
say that using the expression from last
week? You've got five seconds everyone.
Are you ready? All right, go. All right and
time is up. If you said, yes, "We need to
fast track our progress," then that's
exactly right. Well done and thank you
for remembering last week's lesson. All
right everyone, let's move on to "no sweat."
Now this is what I sometimes hear.
Alright so I need to deliver a
presentation in Japanese but
unfortunately my Japanese skill is not
so high. So I asked Taro to give me a
hand and he gave me some great advice. So
I say "Taro, thank you so much for
helping me with my presentation I
couldn't have done it without your help."
Taro says "No problem. I'm always happy to
help." All right. You're so kind Taro. Thank
you so much. Okay, no problem. That's great,
simple, easy to understand, but you might
hear someone say this. Yeah. "No sweat! I'm
always happy to help." Okay so whenever
someone says "Oh thank you so much for
doing something" yeah, you can say "No
sweat." "No problem." Yeah it was nothing.
don't mention it. Okay, these are all
expressions you can use to express "No
problem." Okay, one of them being "no sweat." Okay so you know if you sweat it means
you have to use lots of effort, right?
If you're running very hard or you know
if you are doing something that gives
you a lot of pressure, maybe you're going
to sweat. But no problem, no sweat. It was easy. Not a problem, Okay, no sweat.
so pronunciation everyone so please
repeat after me.
No sweat. Okay now if you say it quickly
you'll notice that we don't pronounce
the T at the end so it's "No sweat."
Kind of silent T there, so all right
please repeat after me, one more time.
Yeah "no sweat. I'm always happy to help." Your turn. All right very good. Now after
my sentence here "Thank you so much for
helping me with my presentation." that's
right yeah no sweat. I'm always happy to
help. Okay so please remember this for
next time. Okay our bonus question this week is
another way to say "the manager is
feeling angry." Okay, hopefully this
doesn't happen to you but I'll give
you a hint. What color do you associate
with anger? Maybe you have an idea. So
think about it. All right, if you know
what it is, please leave it in the
comments below. If not, feel free to check
it out in one of our previous Bizmates
for Beginners video lessons. So take a
look if you have the time. All right
everyone so that is it for us this week.
Thank you always for watching the
channel. Have a great week everyone and
see you next time. Bye bye.
