Hello everyone and welcome to this
week's Bizmates for Beginners video

0:00:04.680,0:00:09.990
lesson where every week we introduce a
new phrase, idiom or expression that you

0:00:09.990,0:00:15.150
can use in your daily conversation. And
today everyone, we are going to learn the

0:00:15.150,0:00:19.920
expression: "no-brainer." Let's find out
what it means, but first everyone, let's

0:00:19.920,0:00:25.560
do a quick review of last week's class.
Alright everyone, so imagine, I

0:00:25.560,0:00:30.359
asked you: What do you think of the
newest member of the team? And of course

0:00:30.359,0:00:35.910
he is a very energetic person. So how do
you say that using the expression from

0:00:35.910,0:00:39.940
last week? I'll give you five seconds okay?
You ready? Go.

0:00:39.940,0:00:41.940
and time is up everyone, if you

0:00:46.620,0:00:50.010
said: "He's really gung-ho" then that's
exactly right.

0:00:50.010,0:00:54.989
Good job and thanks for remembering last
week's class. Alright let's move on to

0:00:54.989,0:01:01.109
"no-brainer." Now this is what I sometimes
hear... so I asked Taro -- we're out for lunch

0:01:01.109,0:01:06.750
okay, we're just relaxing -- so Taro, do you
prefer sweet or salty food? Yeah it's a

0:01:06.750,0:01:11.610
simple question. Taro says: Well that's an
easy answer! Salty!

0:01:11.610,0:01:16.680
Yeah, I always see he's you know
got a lot of salty food and snacks kind

0:01:16.680,0:01:22.170
of on his desk, so yeah I thought salty
would be the right answer. OK now "easy

0:01:22.170,0:01:28.560
answer", we can say that or if something
is really easy to answer, if it doesn't

0:01:28.560,0:01:35.820
take much effort, if it's very obvious
then you can say... yes "That's a "no-brainer! Salty!"

0:01:35.820,0:01:42.810
OK so whenever someone asks you
a question or your opinion, and you think

0:01:42.810,0:01:48.420
well this is a really easy answer, and I
don't even have to think about, it you

0:01:48.420,0:01:54.110
can say it's a "no-brainer."
OK, so for example: Justin do you prefer

0:01:54.110,0:01:59.250
summer or winter? I'll say that's a
no-brainer. Summer for sure. I love the

0:01:59.250,0:02:04.590
summer okay? For example. Alright
everyone, so pronunciation "no-brainer"

0:02:04.590,0:02:09.180
very easy, please repeat after me:
no-brainer. Your turn.

0:02:11.260,0:02:15.860
Alright very good, and after my
question: so do you prefer sweet or

0:02:15.860,0:02:18.540
salty food? You say...

0:02:20.360,0:02:24.000
Yeah, it's a no-brainer. Salty or sweet, okay?

0:02:24.120,0:02:30.380
Alright so please remember this for next time.
Alright our bonus question this week

0:02:30.390,0:02:35.250
everyone is another way to say: "Norma." If
you know what the answer is, of course

0:02:35.250,0:02:39.870
you can leave it in the comments below
on our YouTube page, and if you don't

0:02:39.870,0:02:43.400
know what the answer is, of course you
can find it in one of our previous

0:02:43.400,0:02:49.440
Bizmates for Beginners video lessons. Okidoki everyone, that is it for this

0:02:49.440,0:02:53.370
week's lesson, thank you very much for
watching the video and supporting the

0:02:53.370,0:02:59.000
channel. As always, have a great weekend
everyone and I'll see you next time.
