今回は前回とは反対に、あなたの周りに良い報告があり、賞賛する気持ちを伝えたい場合に使えるフレーズです。

例えば、テストを受験したあなたの同僚が、

“I finally passed the test.”「ついにあのテストに合格したよ」と報告があった場合に、
あなたなら何と応えますか?

“Oh great.”

この言い方も間違っているわけではなく、賞賛する気持ちは相手にも伝わるのですが、
こんな場合には、もっと「おめでとう」「やったね」といったような常套句を使いたいですよね。

こんな時にはぜひ、

“Way to go.”
を使ってみて下さい。シンプルで非常によく使われるナチュラルなフレーズです。
