Hi everyone, Welcome to E-mail Picks.
It's Kyota here and I'm on vacation this

week. But unfortunately, as you can see,
the weather's not great and we're

expecting a typhoon today. So for that
reason, I have something I need to tell

my colleagues back in Tokyo. So let's
look at what that is.

So now I'm back in my hotel room and just to give you a
little background information, my plan is

to fly home tonight because my
department is having an important

meeting tomorrow to decide on something
very important. So that's why I'm writing

to my colleagues now to tell them to
have the meeting without me. So here goes.

Hello colleagues, There seems to be a
typhoon heading toward Wakayama

prefecture, where I am now, and chances
are my plane won't fly tomorrow. In case

I can't make it back, please go ahead and
have the meeting without me. I trust you

all and will respect any decision made.
Hope to see you soon, Kyota

OK so first sentence I'm letting them know the
situation I'm in right now. There's a

typhoon coming. In the second paragraph,
I'm suggesting that they go ahead and

have the meeting, and I wrote "I trust you
all and will respect any decision made"

so that they won't hesitate to make the
decision without me. Then, we won't have

to postpone the decision until next week
or anything. So I may not get to the

office in time, but it's OK
as long as my message will. So anyway,

that's it for today thank you for
watching and I'll see you back in Tokyo.

See you next week.
