“Are you coming?” 「あなたは来る？」
と誘われ「はい、楽しみにしてます。」と回答したい場合、
“Yes, I hope it is fun.”
なんて言ってしまうかもしれません。
この言い方でも意図は伝わりますが、もっとナチュラルな表現があります。
こんなときは、ぜひ “looking forward to” 「楽しみにしている」を使って、
“Yes, I’m looking forward to it.”
と言いましょう。
