「ロビーで偶然会ったよ。」と返答したい時、あなたなら何と言いますか？
“Yes, I accidentally met him in the lobby.”「はい、間違えてロビーで会いました。」
意味は伝わるかもしれませんが、不自然です。
そこで
“Yes, I ran into him in the lobby.”「うん、ロビーで偶然会ったよ。」
と言いましょう。自然に聞こえます。
流れるように発音するのがコツ。ぜひこの表現を使ってみてください。

right. In general, Japanese are shy. So when
you make a general statement, we can say in
